Welcome to the Deberosa Homestead Blog. Deberosa is the name of my homestead on the Olympic Peninsula. In the first four years I have been tranforming an abandonned farm into a sustainable system to provide our food. Join me as we learn together how to be more self sufficient and sustainable in our lives no matter where we live.
NOTE: I created this site to share info with others starting their own homesteads and as a way to share news with distance family and friends. Use the ideas freely in your own homesteads, HOWEVER after finding one of my pictures posted in a magazine with another author’s article, I feel I need to post the following. Sorry I have to muck up the site with such stuff, but apparently I need to.
ANY & ALL PERSONAL STORIES, PICTURES AND/OR LIKENESS OF THE IMAGES ON THIS ENTIRE WEBSITE ARE THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER OF THIS SITE AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR OTHERS’ USE.
YOU MAY NOT BORROW, USE OR COPY OUR PICTURES, IMAGES, STORIES OR TEXT FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION, UNDER PENALTY OF LAW!!!

Hey Lady,
I was thinking about some people I have not spoken to in a while and you were one of them. I stopped by Cedar Hill farm site to say hey to Paul and saw the link to here. I see it has not been updated lately, so I do not even know if you will receive this.
If you do get this, just know that I think you are a pretty okay person and I do not much care what the rest think! LOL
SPIKE
SPIKE! I am WAY behind on my blog! Check out forum.tractorfarmandfamily.com – it’s my new “home”. Kurt and I broke up this spring – long story but I am forging ahead on my own.
